Do not sand it, or try to remove anything, this will only decrease the value... The best bet is some Old English furniture polish, or Pledge. Just remember to wipe well to avoid any build-up

alright. so first things first. when he is calm.. explain to him that you understand he doesn't wanta divorce and you don't either HOWEVER some things MUST change.. or the risk ofthat happening in the future will unfortunately increase.. because you cannot stay in an unhappy marriage that is not getting better. that being said. for dinner you have two options. family dinner time it's a very important routine for your child to grow up with.. so.. option #1 don't give him the option of where to eat. set the table, put the food in his place at the table and tell him to sit and eat.. if he refuses.. keep it at the table.. he'll come sit when hes hungry enough and learn dinner time is at the table. Option #2 weekdays, he can eat wherever he wants, but weekends he eats at the family dinner table. pick whichever you feel is best. onto getting the spark back.. as long as you are having sex 2 times a month you are considered a sexually active couple.. so try not to focus on sex itself so much.. find intimacy in other things. when the baby is in bed take a bath or shower together ( this is relaxing and doesn't require much energy) leave him cute love note post-its on his desk or bathroom mirror etc. simple things "i love you" "you make me smile" etc. reminisce together about good memories you share, cute moments you had.. etc. plan a specific romantic evening or afternoon in advance so that he knows to prepare and not be tired or whatever. compliment HIM even if he says nothing back.. keep doing it.. eventually the idea of compliments with enter his brain and he'll start doing it to you all by himself. appreciate small things/gestures. try not to over expect. that way he wont feel like he's always not doing a good enough job.. if he feels that way it's likely going to cause him to not want to try anymore. let him know you recognize and appreciate any improvements he makes. best of luck.

i wouldn't clean it...it will be very valuable left the way it is. even if you don't want to sell it, a situation may arise where you would HAVE to sell it so my advice is to leave it be
