I'm getting ready to fly for the first time and I would like to know what I'm allowed to take on the plane in that one gallon bag. I know we can have only three ounces of liquids but, does that apply to just one item being three ounces or as many as I can take in this gallon bag as long as each one doesn't pass three ounces. I would love to hear from some one on this please. Thank you.

You can take as many as you want in the ziplock bag that is no larger than a gallon sized bag. And each product must be 3 ounces or less (only as many as can fit in that ONE bag). Good luck. Everything else is okay too (even cell phones and laptops, although there only certain times you can your the laptop and you can never use your cell phone once the door to the plane is sealed). I suggest you bring a book, they are great for flights.

Double check with www.tsa.gov as it changes often. However, it is NOT a one Gallon bag you can take, it is a One QUART bag. It cannot be stuffed full but can contain bottles that aren't over 3 ounces as many that will comfortably fit inside. You have to also have it out of your carry on upon going through security.
