My grandparents used to battle over lemonade with my grandfather prefering a pink lemonade and my grandmother prefering "normal" lemonade.
Staghorn Sumac (not poison sumac) berries make a delicious pink lemonade:
Pick the berries while they are still a lighter color.
Clean berries by discarding dark ones from the bunches.
Take about 10 bunches of berries to a gallon of hot water and let them steep while it cools - overnight is best.
The lemonade will now be pink. Remove the berries and strain if necessary to remove any berries that may have broken free.
Add sugar to taste. 2 cups is usually plenty.
Pour over ice and serve
Makes about 20 servings of delicious (and inexpensive) pink lemonade.
My grandmother used to make standard lemonade:
Juice from 8 lemons
1 and 1/3 cups of sugar
8 cups of cold water
Combine these ingredients in a 3 quart pitcher stir
Pour over ice and serve
Makes about 10 1 cup servings.
Easy to juice: Roll the lemon in your hand firmly before cutting it in half to juice.
I hope you find these delicious.

You first get a jug and mix a little hot water and the amount of sugar you want in it. So it becomes sugar water. Or you can use honey. I prefer using strawberry honey.
It should be like about...1/10 of it. It really depends how sweet you want it to be. Then, get lemons freshly chopped into 8ths and/or picked and squeeze them. Then add ice water (to neutralize the sour flavor) and some ice cubes (for keeping cold) in the jug. It's great for picnics, having friends over, swimming parties in the summer.
For an strawberry/raspberry flavor, I add sugar, water, and a few frozen raspberries or/and strawberries, blend it till they are liquid and add that in. Or you can just chop up the strawberries (frozen or not) and throw in the raspberries into the jug so its like chunks of fruit in the lemonade jug. Cool for taste and decoration.
For an orange tangy flavor, squirt oranges and a lime for flavor. Or just add a little bit of orange juice.
If you like it fizzy, add All Natural 7up soda. There's no caffiene.
hope that helped!

Ever had peach lemonade..
Peach syrup (can be bought at Smart and Final)
lemons( juice)
water
sugar
lemonade is kinda a taste and add kinda thing.
I love adding strawberrys to regular lemonade without the peach syrup. to make it fun.. just do the old fashioned way with the lemons (juice) sugar and water, add ice, and have a slushy.. and you can always add fruit to lemonades.. mainly berries and peaches or nectarine taste wonderful added to this.

this is the best you have to try it!
buy some Real Lemon @ your grocery store (it's a concentrate...ask your grocer if you don't know)....you will also need sugar and water (of coarse).... mix as instructed on the back of the Real Lemon bottle - depending on amount you want to make- it explains.. from one glass servings to 2 quarts....and also have some fresh lemons on hand....cut them in quarters and throw in the glass (or place on the side of the glasses) with plenty of ice....................ENJOY!
