What realistic steps can you do in order to stop immigration?

I havent heard a single one that works.

DAR, they arent here for the beneficts but for the jobs, I think avoid education its a bad idea because that is not the reason for them to be here, and if they become citizen one day you will have uneducated citizen.

There is no way that illegal immigration will ever be stopped as long as such unbearable living conditions exist in other countries.

1. National identity card (similiar to the permanent ones issued to US Military);
2. Civil asset forfeiture for immigration violations (take their cars (they pollute anyway), houses, wages payable, etc);
3. Change ALL visas to include the waiver portion of the visa waiver program (this means that anyone who violates any term of their visa - even a traffic ticket - can be removed immediately without appeal to an immigration judge (this will eliminate 50% of immigration cases and clear out the backlog);
4. Make ANY immigration violation a PERMANENT bar to ANY immigration relief. If you get deported you can NEVER return. (This would remove the incentive of those who have petitions pending from coming here illegally);
5. Increase the number of H visas and include agricultural workers of any sorts (including meat packing plants), but require the employers to post a surety if the workers do not leave within the time periods.
6. Require the Social Security Administration to refer any suspected fraud (ie multiple use of the same number at different locations) to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
7. Take ICE out of all other areas of investigation (ie turn drugs over to DEA, guns to ATF, terrorists to FBI, export violations to Department of Commerce, Commercial Import Fraud to Customs and Border Protection, etc.) and concentrate solely on interior enforcement (including worksite enforcement investigations) of immigration laws.

How is that for a start?

I don't want to stop immigration, I want to stop illegal invasion. And all we'd have to do is enforce our existing laws.That will work. No jobs, no medical care, no housing, no loans, no food stamps, no free education, and no translating for them or speaking their language to them (except while deporting them) will mean no illegals. Why would they come to a place that no longer caters to them? If I sound cruel I don't care. They screwed up when they demanded special rights and privileges when they aren't even supposed to be here.

I forgot the most important thing--no more anchor baby citizenship. Not for a bunch of ungrateful people who have the audacity to call us immigrants (and tell us to go home!) just for the color of our skin. I'm tired of their racism most of all.

Asking in all the places it isn't considered PC to ask like schools and hospitals, and actually enforcing.

That isn't being done.

Dismantle all benefits especially free education to those who shouldn't be here, and make specific rules for how to handle ID checks for workers so the rules can be enforced. Enforce those rules, too.

I think if the Border Patrol were given "shoot to kill" orders on these invaders, the word would get back to their homeland, and the stupid Mexicans would think twice before trying to invade our country illegally. There is a legal way to do it. If they're not willing to go through the correct channels, shoot them.
