I have had the same thing on and off. I realized when I took a calcium supplements the pain was much less, so I started back on the calcium and it is helping. It's very important to do stretches every day to stretch the muscles in the lower leg. I found by standing on a step with my heels resting slightly over and pushing my heels down towards the floor that this is a good stretch for my heels. Link below will show some stretches

As far as shoes, try to wear supportive shoes like sneakers or walking shoes. If needed, put an inner sole in your shoes.

If all this doesn't help, see a foot doctor

U first need to see a foot Dr. and follow his or her instructions...I'm constantly on my feet and I've had mine come back several times and there very painful...I took the steriod inj's the dr recommened into my heels and also had to take some antiinflammatory medication he prescribed...But honestly unforn. they have still came back twice since doing all that...

Are you sure you have it? If so, it took two years for mine to resolve itself. This was with meds (ibuprofen), rest, ice, and stretching my foot.
