I guess I disagree. Since I have both. There was a lot of time invested in making those tapes. IF they still sound fine and it is the music you are looking for then why not continue to play them. To transfer then would require additional time and money. A lot of them were recorded from records, ya those big vinyl things your parents have. LOL Yes, an Ipod or MP3 player gives you more flexibility but I just do not have the time to do the transferring.
