That's the problem with meeting people online! You don't get the full "picture" of the person all at once and are forced to fill in the blanks. You should get to know her. She could have been in a place that made it difficult for her to speak as she normally does.
By the way, I met my boyfriend on MySpace and he wasn't really what I expected but I gave him a chance and am very happy I did.

that's why you never meet anyone that you talk with online, you will be shocked & disappointed, and the one time your not shocked & disappointed, you will not be interested.
my brother hooked up with the chic he met online, my sister and my cousins date people from the net like a new one every week. they have good experiences. i do not personally, which is why I revised this answer.
Another thing, when your online, your visualizing how the person your messaging with is going to look like, talk like, etc. When you talk in real person it will be different than your visualization. If your into meeting people online be ready to be disappointed from time to time. Think of it like reading a book then watching the movie they made based on the book. Different yet the same.
If there are too many differences then you know it's not good. forget it.

call her and communicate on the telephone first.. in case you're the two nevertheless involved.. set up a date at a Barnes and Noble. .it somewhat is an incredible place to fulfill, have a smoothie or a coffee , it somewhat is unquestionably lit and lots of folk around.. a sort of 'secure' place. decide for it. I even have made some large buddies on line.. It gets extra convenient each and every time you do it.. sturdy luck

thats what happens when u tlk to people online, u dont know what they are really like and can never be 100% sure they are truthful! she may have sent u pictures that are not even her.
others tho are very truthful and genuine! just depends if u want to take the risk or not of getting involved with someone online and maybe having to cope with being lied to or let down!
another problem is they will not look like or sound like what u expect (if u have not seen the picture)

i really dont think you can judge someone from how they sound on the phone. if you just enjoy talking to her then i dont really thik it should matter, but if you want more you should just go ahead and meet her. people are sometimes different online than in person though... it's a lot easier to express yourself without being embarrassed online, so real conversation with her might be different than what you expected.

I wouldn't let it throw you. Maybe she drank too much and was a little more risque than usual. Maybe she's interested in getting to know you better and that's the only way she knows to interact. Doesn't make her a bad person. I'd say, ask her out, but take things slow. It'll be much easier to get to know her and you'll get a better idea of your physical, in-person chemistry.

What exactly did she sound like? If she sounded like a man then I would definitely end all contact with "her",lol. Or If she just sounded alittle weird to you then I would suggest you think about this and get to know her alittle more before you make a decision what to do.

i dont think meeting people online is the best idea. for all you kno he could be a crazy old man/woman wanted to rape someone. i would not take phone calls from her. but i guess you guys can still talk on myspace. but dont meet in person, none of us wants you hurt!
