I haven't got a very good track record with relationships.
But to cut a long story - when (very rarely) I like a lass, I cant get the courage to ask her out - Commitment just scares me away. Also it usually happens that I am slow to ask her out, and she goes off with someone else, and it just ruins my confidence.

Maybe you have commitment issues because you were committed before and you got hurt. I say before you go trying to ask someone out take care of that commitment issue first. Try to see what is bothering you and stopping you from finding that perfect someone, and once you think you are ready then slowly go into a commitment, it takes time. If you tell the special someone, if they love you enough they will understand and stay by your side.

Lol, I'm actually involved with a guy like you at the moment so I cant really help ya, but as a long suffering girl I say if ya like her just tell her, if she likes you she's prob giving ya all the signals and dont let it ruin your confidence, these girls wouldn't date ya in the first place if they didn't like you.

Hang in there. when the right one comes along you'll know it because you WILL feel comfortable enough to ask her out and that will be the reason you'll want her. It's not about finding confidence in yourself but about finding comfort with someone else.

you need to build on your confidence when talking to women. you need to believe in yourself. write down all your good qualities that you have. eg good sense of humour, kind and caring. these things women like. just be normal and talk to women, have a good conversation with women at work, college or at the place you spend time. if they are interested in you they will listen to what you say. just make friends with women at first. that is how you build your confidence. then you will see that there is nothing to be nervous. good luck to you!!

just give yourself a push and build up your self esteem and if you fancy a certain woman dont hang about approach her and only two things can happen
