Why did the lion get lost in the jungle?
Because 'jungle is massive'!!

A Brit told it to me, I don't get it.

Well that seems pretty conclusive then, none of us get it!
There is a song in the UK ? That means nothing at all.
I am also a Brit, (but a Scot), this is obviously an English joke, and one of the main things that the English are well known for is their distinct lack of humor, thats only one of the things they are well known for!
So dont waste any more time on this puzzle, just put it down to some English cranky.

Jungle is massive is a phrase pertaining to the genre of music 'jungle'
It means jungle is great, the joke is lame though.

also, the lion would easily be lost as it's natural habitat are the plains of Africa, tigers live in the jungle though

It does seem to be lyrics from a song. I think the spelling is in question but it would sound the same when pronounced. See below

This Sound Is For The Underground!
Track: Virus Syndicate - Ready To Learn
M-Beat - Jungle is massive

And the lrics go wicked, wicked, junglist massive.. etc.

It's a rap/hiphop (or something like that) song where they repeatedly say "Jungle is massive". I think it's from the Ali G movie if my memory serves me correctly.

Lions are massive and in this case jungles are to.

But that's a lame joke.
