Atlanta is a LOT different than New Jersey - but you'll probably adjust very well. One of the big differences is they don't have mass transit in Atlanta - they do have busses and trains, but it's not like it is in Jersey! If you want to go anywhere, you'll probably have to get somebody to drive you.

It depends on where you're moving from....

I just moved down here from near Cleveland, OH.

People are generally friendly, but as an agnostic, I'm having a hard time with people preaching at me and asking where I go to church when they first meet me.

It's too hot for my taste here, and I miss little things like delis, bagels, and snow.

You're still young and in school. I imagine it will be easier for you to adjust than it was for me.

if you do good in school and arent disrispectful ill open you with open arms but once you disrispect a teacher or some other adult its on i only say this is because a lot on yankees are moving here and it seems like they have no manners at all maybe that dosnt include you but i dont want bad people to be movine down into my land and disripect us and call us rednecks if you are going to do that move back up north because then we dont want you here.

Actually people are very frank and very easy to move so don't do worry about it .
But at the same time they are very much secured, So always carry your identification items like your ID card and etc with you.

Depends on where you are moving from, and whether or not you have stong religious convictions.

Prepare for culture shock, probably.
