They are eight hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. By the way, they do not go on Daylight Savings Time, so they are seven hours ahead in the summer.

When it is day here it is night there.

Take noon here and it is 2 am there. My son is in the Army and was in Iraq. It was hard for him to call and he had to do it 7am our time as it was best for him in the evening.

He is home and his body is still recovering from the huges time changes.
