I dislike using processed flours in my dog's food, but am having trouble finding a recipe for biscuits that does not use it. I already give treats that are made up of oatmeal and other ingredients, but I plan on making cookie-cutter biscuits for my dog's birthday, so I need to make my own.

There are a few recipies on this site:
http://www.globalpaw.com/dogtreats/dog_biscuits/applecinnamondoggiebiscuits.php
The wheat-less tuna biscuits don't have any flour, but all the rest do I believe.

I make these for my dog all of the time, they are super easy and I think you'd be able to make them from stuff you have in your kitchen already :) 1 1/2 Tbs. oil 1 cup warm chicken stock, warm water or any other warm liquid of your choice 1 3/4 cup flour 1 1/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked 1/4 to 1/2 cup peanut butter OR 1/3 to 1/2 cup cheese Mix oil, peanut butter and warm liquid together until peanut butter melts; stir in all of the rest of the ingredients until a dough forms. If you are using grated cheese, add it into the mixture with the flour instead of melting it into the liquid. Shape into 2 or 3 tubes, wrap in plastic wrap & refrigerate for an hour. I often place them into the freezer to speed up the chilling, which takes about 30 minutes in the freezer. Slice into 1/4" biscuits and bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the biscuits are dry and crispy. Or you can refrigerate the dough and then roll out to 1/4" thickness and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and then bake. Flip the biscuits over about halfway through cooking so that they evenly brown. Let them cool completely & they're ready for consumption! This makes lots of treats, but they store very nicely in airtight containers or in the refrigerator.

peanut butter doggy cookies! :) ive been making doggie cookies for a while, and anything with peanut butter they love.
heres a flourless recipe just for you.
INGREDIENTS
* 1 cup peanut butter
* 1/2 to 3/4 cup white sugar
* 1 egg
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2. Combine ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool. Recipe doesn't make very many, so you could double recipe as you desire.
that, or id just use a regular peanut butter cookie mix, reduce the sugar by half, and use organic wheat flour from the health food store. if its his birthday, add a few white chocolate chips. :)
(the chips wont hurt him, look it up.)

Try using unbleached whole wheat flour.....it's less processed than regular flour and provides more nutrition for your dog.If you like you can run some oats through the blender and use that to replace the flour in any recipe.Hope this helps.

You could buy a dehumidifier and dry some chicken livers or beef chunks as treats. Anything like a cookie I think is going to have flour in it.
