Dip thumb in glass of cold water & keep submerged. Do NOT use any kind of greasy ointments on it, as this will trap the heat inside.
Use the cold to take the pain away, & take some ibuprofen, after eating. (Motrin).
Wrap with a clean dry bandage. It will blister & pop in a few days & then apply antibiotic ointment.

Be careful about using ice on a burn! You should have a cloth separating the burned skin and the ice. There are some good creams to use on burns (made specifically for burns) that you can use. If it's really bad, you can try a pain reliever like ibuprofin or acetaminaphen. (Advil or Tylenol)

Grease burns hurt! Aloe vera lotion is what I used to use! I even used to have my own aloe vera plant and I would pick a piece off and put it on my mosquito bites, etc. for instant relief. It works incredibly well.

Cold water or ice, aloe gel, or vinegar. I used a lot of those when I worked in assorted bakeries.
Feel better!
