Most digital cameras have a red-eye reduction setting (which you may have to look at the instruction book to help you learn when to use it). Also, make sure that the room is well lit. Red eye in photos is caused when the pupil is dilated (due to medication, injury, or a dark room) and is suddenly exposed to the bright light of a camera flash.
Also, you can help get rid of red-eye with photo software on digital printing stations at pharmacies, department stores and anywhere that has a Kodak digital printing center.
Hope this helps!

If you have iphoto, once you put the pictures on the computer, you can erase red eye. It's a really cool feature on the program. So my advice is to doctor them on the computer after.

If you download it to your computer usually the program that came with your camera can fix it.
