if you are the type of person that can handle spicy foods, then eat 2 cloves of garlic per day
lightly cooked is ok, raw is better but can be very hard to stomach
crush it on chackers with salt on it.
you can eat whatever you want after.
you can also get some oscillococcinum (herbal medicine) from the health food store for body aches.
the flu that going around will make you sick for 2 days. when you run to the bathroom, bring a bucket, because you might throw up at the same time!
it is also VERY contagious....even if you have been better for a few days, other people can still catch it from you.

Influenza is a respiratory disease and does not affect the gastro-intestinal tract. If you are throwing up try to rest, keep warm, and eat ice chips or sip small amounts of water. You must stay hydrated

Sipp fluids and just lie down all day,and try not to move your head.
The single best treatment for this is rest,after a nap i feel much better and once it made me recover instantly.
