i was walking along my house and then i see three rats
so then i chase them down with my broomstick and i
kill all 3 of them , and then realize that one of them is my puppy :(

well, one way to look at dreams is that each character in the dream is you or a part of you. Maybe the rats represent things you do that you're trying to change, like procrastination or whatever. But there's something that your subconscious feels is tied up with the playful, perhaps little boy (I'm sorry I don't know if you're a man but dogs often represent the male side of our personalities) side of yourself. So it's a good idea to get rid of the "rats" in your life, but don't be too hard on yourself!

Interpreting that it seems you may be feeling some guilt that you might not be there for your puppy enough? Dreams seem to emulate your feelings, but just in a really twisted way.

Dream's are just fantasies in your sub-conscious that usually happen during rem-sleep.
You should just do your best to forget it.
