I have a heart/oval shaped face. My hair is dirty blonde and a little past my shoulders. I have been looking into getting side bangs and I think that they would look very cute on me. Should I get side bangs or just stick with the hair that I have now?

You do not intend to highlite your face shape when still testing.
The accepting friends of your real life want you to be clean and
comfortable, also maybe sparkling or sweet. Whatever you
decide is fine, and you know when you are ready, to make a
haircut part of your personality will take various try outs. So
here is the bad news, you may make mistakes, you have to
try. Good news is, be fare, and that will include information
like where do you work, play, when and what you wear. When
you try something one area that does work is previous success for performers. Don't forget all those lucky, teenpeople,
fashion magazines, but here is the clue, what do you do is
part of an image.

I would definetely go for the bangs because sideswept bangs look good on almost anyone. Very Stylish and Cool. Good Luck!

give the bangs a try. if they don't look as good as you thought they would, wait for them to grow out, or just use some bobby pins to keep them away from the forehead

Side Bangs definately i have them and i love them!!! Just ask for them to frame your face and to let you know they do get in your eyes.
