The standard in historical research is that ONE SINGLE source for anything is considered unverifiable -- it takes multiple sources to verify a person, event, etc. That's because single sources are ALWAYS biased, written from the author's own point of view, and with multiple sources you can look for commonalities among the biases of the authors to get a truer picture of what really happened.
So, historically, right away anything in the bible that's not ever mentioned anywhere else is not considered valid or verified, as it's a single source.
Second, the "world history" in the bible, when compared with the multiple sources that *do* touch on the same subjects, has been shown to be extremely INACCURATE. Of the "historical" stories in the bible that are also touched on by other sources, less than 15% agree with other sources, the other 85% are not consistent with other writings, archeaology, geology, etc. You mentioned the "flood" -- there is no evidence of any kind that there was EVER a worldwide-flood, and it is certain that there was no worldwide flood at the time the bible says there was (there are written records from 2 other countries covering hundreds of years before, during, and after the flood -- not possible if they all drowned! And none of them mention a worldwide flood...).
World history IS real. The bible isn't -- at least not as a source of accurate history.
It's a collection of myths, legends, fables, stories meant to impart a lesson or make a moral point...it's NOT history.

Many parts of the Bible are historical accounts. That doesn't mean that the world is six thousand years old. The earth is billions of years old.
The Bible isn't the only source of history about the ancient world. In some cases, the Bible differs from historical accounts. In fact, the Bible even differs with itself sometimes. That's because it was written by many people. People make mistakes.
Science and reason must be taken into account when trying to understand ancient texts like the Bible.

YES! A sign is the retaking of the Temple Mount in 1967, now we wait for the Temple to be rebuilt. Daniel 9:25 This has a dual fulfillment, Suleiman the Great ordered Jerusalem rebuilt & in 1967 Temple mount captured so the 7 weeks of years makes approx yrs 49 that takes us to, by my estimation, around about the year 2015-2016

The bible is meant to be a book that describes what will happen in the future as well as what has already happened, that's why history in the bible is so accurate... however, you have to be a really hard believer to even let yourself fall for that stuff, but a lot of people still believe the bible is a load of ****, however, who are we to say the bible is bogus if there is evidance right in front of us that what has happned in history was already fortold in the bible?
World history on the other hand...you know i'm not sure if it's real myself. A lot of things that have happened have been covered up or switched to suit someone or something, so we can only go on what we are being told. So REALLY, no one will ever know if what they've been told is the truth. People are just like babies, being fed information and believing it, not considering whether what they're being told is the truth. So on your question is world history real? I say, parts of it are.

Sorry, but I really don't understand the meaning of the list you've posted there.
World History in the bible is FAR from accurate, as a lot of people will tell you. Here are a few off the top of my head. The Jewish Exodus from Egypt led by Moses. No record of such a thing in Egyptian records (which is a culture that meticulously recorded rainfall, census, etc). No record of Herod's slaughter of the innocents when Christ was born. For that matter, the bible timeline is off about Herod even being in charge then.

World history is real, but that doesn't mean that the Bible is 100% historically accurate. For instance, Jer. 25.11 says that the people of Judah would be in captivity for seventy years. History says that the Babylonian captivity lasted less than fifty.

World history up untill the last 70 or so years has been writen by the winning side and this is fact so to be honest a lot of the worlds history is what one side wanted you to know and believe in the future. Not untill recent years has History been about both sides of the line.

So the book has some history, some accurate some not. What does that prove? If you take any modern history book and throw in "And god said..." in every other paragraph, what does that prove?

The Bible is an interesting collection of middle eastern tales and legends. It is a work of fiction. World history in it is not accurate. The puprose of this work of fiction is not to describe history.

Everyone believes the Bible, just not the weird parts.
As an example, the account that Aaron's rod turned into a snake which ate Pharaoh's servants' snakes, is not accurate. C'mon.
The account that Jesus floated up into the clouds like a gentle balloon, it's not historically or scientifically accurate.
We can believe the sensible parts of the Bible without having to believe the weird parts.
