'L'etude menee sur les sujets se presentant pour un bilan' I don't understand the 'se presentant', does it mean 'voluntary?' please no online translations, cheers.

The study conducted on these subjects;
If "sujets" are people: ....subjects being introduced for...
If "sujets" are subjects: ...subjects being submited for..
And In these contexts I don't think it means "voluntary".

No, it doesn't mean voluntary. Se présenter means "presented as, representing, in the form of."

in the context that you are using the word..yes it is voluntary
