On a low-card diet. Would you consider turkey bacon and turkey sausages to be "fats" or "proteins"? When I cooked the turkey bacon, absolutely no grease came out. God forbid I miss my fat serving LOL. Fat or protein, do you think?

I have a nutritionist and doctor- who ordered me on this diet- guiding me through this but they're not available today. I have a big manual on it, but I didn't see turkey products categorized.

I would suggest that it be a protein source, to be a fat a serving must have 4.5 grams of fat to equal one fat and 7 grams of protein to equal one protein.

They are proteins with a certain fat content (usually pretty low for turkey but you should read the information in the label). For example, cheese is a protein. Normally it contains around 7 grams of fat per ounce. A pure fat would be something like oil (corn, canola, olive...) or butter or margarine.

turkey bacon is always the way to go. its healthier, thats why it has less grease then normal bacon. turkey bacon also taste better to me, but that's just my preference. whether turkey bacon is fat or protein, i don't no, but i do no that it's healthier for you.

On a low-carb diet you don't count fat. You need a lot because you burn it for energy. You don't count protein either. The only thing you count is net carbs.

If you're on a low-carb diet and don't completely understand it you'd be best to give it up. Doing it incorrectly is very dangerous to your health.

Given the new information you've added I would probably consider the turkey bacon to be about half protein and half fat. Here's more information I got from fitday.com...
