Ill filter and reuse roast potato oil.
Any other oil, i put into an old car oil can, when its full I take it down the tip and pour it into the used oil tank they have there. That way its reused.

I only use enough to cook dinner so there is never any left over at the end. If the pan was particularly greasy after cooking, then I would wipe it with a paper towel before I washed it (paper towel goes in the bin).

What do you cook that results in excess cooking oil that needs to be thrown away?

I put my cooking oil in an old coffee can. When it gets cold, I put it in three plastic grocery bags, tie it up and put it in a garbage bag. Be careful when putting it in the grocery bags, so it does not spill on floor or counter top.

you can pour it own the disposal. Have hot water running & the disposal going already before you start to pour Then slowly pour. Keep hot water running & disposal going one minute after you finish pouring out oil.

Go to a local garage, greenhouse. Most greenhouses and a lot of garages have waste oil burners. They use them for heat. If you live in California, Florida, or Mexico you are going to have a problem trying to find one....I store it in a five gallon pail.
