I have never tried it, but meal delivery programs in general are very successful. Mainly because of the convenience. It is easier to stick to the program if your meals are prepared for you. I have heard great success stories from people on the Zone at Home program. Good Luck!

I have not tried that particular meal program but have tried several others.
I like the idea that you don't have to think about what to eat since it's pretty well planned out for you. My biggest diet cheats happen when I am hungry but have not planned out what to eat. Then I just grab something fast without thinking then once I finish it, I realise that I have blown my diet royally.
For me having meals pepared and delivered to me makes decisions much easier. There is basically no way to cheat unless you go out of your way to cheat.
I personally prefer Nutrisystems. Before you say anything, the foods on Nutrisystem now are much, much different than they were 6 months ago. They have expanded their choices, tastes have improved like you wouldn't believe and there are many more types of diets you can go on.
My favorite is the low GI. After reading that low gi diets not only help you keep your weight in check but low gi diets also cause less inflamation in your body which makes aches and pains less noticable but my main reason is that low gi diets are shown to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles when used over a long period of time.
Now I am not really a vain person but if I can keep a few wrinkles away I will gladly give up certain foods.
If Ediets has a low gi program try it. You have to buy food anyway to to eat, so why not try theirs. If they don't have a low gi diet visit
a site that got my started on a low gi diet. http://ultra-weightloss.com
Either way, take a look at a low gi diet, I think that you'll like it.

Do your grocery shopping with a list and a period of time limit; that way, you're more unlikely that to stray into the highly processed foods section.

Use a vegetable bean dip including hummus instead of ranch dressing or possibly a fatty cream-based dip.
