yes, a mother who dies to save her child would still be dead. That goes without saying. Jesus suffered the most cruel death to save the world from sin, not just a physical death for us, but spiritual, which means eternally apart from God. YES Jesus died for our sins- His resurrection was proof that He was God. The 3 days in the grave was not the sacrifice, the shedding of His PERFECT blood was. If you would believe on this God- would you want to believe in a dead KING- I would not. Christ lives so that I can!!

You have not understood or are unwilling to believe who Jesus, the Christ really was and always will be.
John 1:1-5
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
(from New International Version)
2 Cor 5:20-21
We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
(from New International Version)
Col 1:15-17
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
(from New International Version)
He took the sins of the world and punishment for those sins on Himself. Even thoughHe was perfect and should not have been able to die He did die with OUR sins. He had the power to rise from the grave and has the power to raise us to eternal life.

I dont understand why people seem to think "more" was needed of Jesus. No one said He went through more than anyone else has or that no one else has died. The point is, is that He was not guilty of anything yet paid the price for our guilt. If someone paid your court fines for you, would you not be thankful because "It wasnt THAT expensive". If a good friend or family member gave blood for you or gave a kidney so you could live, would you not be gratfeful because "it didnt hurt THAT much"
It doesn't matter what the price was, it only matters that He paid it FOR you, so you don't have to.

Jesus Died for our sins & he also had that resurrection power in him to raise again on the 3rd. day. A woman that dies does not have that sinless blood in her nor the power to raise herself up again. Jesus was born sinless & had no sin in him, because he was born of the virgin birth. Now concerning Jesus going to hell those 3 days. 1st Peter 3:9 By which also he went & preached unto the souls in prison(or Paridise) & also Ephesians 4:8-10 Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, & gave gifts unto men. Now he that ascendeth, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth. He that desceneth is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things. Now there is also other verses I can use, The story about Lazarus & the rich man, How that there was a great gulf between paridise & torment side of hell, , & the Bible also states that as Jonah was in the fish belly, for 3 days, so shall the son of man be in the heart of the earth, Yes I have scriptures on all these, I just can't take the time right now to look everyone up. From Adam & Eve, Every person that Obeyed God went to hell when they died, Not the torment part, but the paridise part, Yes Adam & Eve was there also, All OT saints went to the paridise part of hell looking for their redeemer that will come one day & bring them with Christ when Christ rose from the dead. So when Jesus died, he went to hell, the paridise part & preached unto Adam on down to every OT saint that was in paridise , & when Christ rose from the grave, You can find that in the gospels of Jesus resurrection, Jesus brought every soul that was in paridise part of hell & they also rose fom the grave,, Read it, It says & the Graves were opened, Therefore Jesus conquer death, Grave & hell, He brought with him every OT saint, & they walked this earth as Jesus did for a few days, & they also was taken up to Heaven Or we can also call it paridise, But it is no longer in the heart of the earth, But in the heavens, The only thing left in the heart of the earth is the wicked & they are in the torment side of hell, Paridise is no longer in the heart of the earth. Now when The Great white throne judgement in Revelation is come that will bring all wicked souls out of hell, the tormenting part & God will cast all the wicked with satan & HELL ITSELF into the lake of fire, & the lake of fire is not even on this earth, That will cleanse everything that was sinful & wicked from this earth & this earth will also be redeemed back to God, There is now no traces of sin left on this earth, That takes you to Rev.22:3 And there shall be no more curse, This earth is also redeemed back to God

Yes, He did die for YOUR sins and mine too..
just three days?
what you fail to realize and can't appreciate is the amount of pain and suffering He endured while taking the total sin debt of the world on Himself.....the sins of BILLIONS of sinners with an unfathomable number of sins, past, present and future.
just three days?
Do you know where He was during the time between His death and resurrection?
He was in Hell!
He went there to tell Satan that all those souls he thought he had "stolen" from God in the Garden of Eden were no longer his.
Jesus had paid for them, and as many as would believe on Him, would never belong to Satan but would be children of the Living God.
just three days?
just three days?
you have got to be kidding
or totally blind to the Truth.
how unappreciative can one be?
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us that are saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians 1:18
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".
Romans 1:22
"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)

Yes, Jesus did die to pay the penalty for our sins.
God is holy. He cannot tolerate sin, and nothing sinful can enter heaven.
The first thing we must do is realize we are sinners; we fall short of God's perfection or holiness. That's why he gave the 10 Commandments. They show what God's standard is and that we can never be perfect no matter how hard we try.
So, if nothing imperfect can enter heaven, and if we ar not perfect, then we are doomed to destruction. BUT, God made a way possible for us to have eternal life in heaven. Though we are sinners we can somehow be made perfect.
God would provide the way.
Sin is serious. It leads to death, eternal death, seperation from God. The wages of sin is death according to Romans 6:23. So everyone who has ever sinned is sentenced to death, unless we accept the way that God has provided.
He provided a substitute to pay the penalty for our sin, to die in our place. The substitute had to be perfect as God is perfect, because how could someone with sin pay for sin. So God sent the one and only perfect sacrifice, Jesus, to die in our place, to pay in full the penalty of our sin.
And because Jesus was sinless, death had no hold on him.
"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." -- 1 Corinthians 15:55-56.
But how did he do this?
"When you were dead in you sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave all your sins, having cancelled the written code, with it's regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross." --Colossians 2:13-14.
All you have to do to have this eternal life is to apply it to yourself, and the way you do that is believe it and accept it.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in him will not die but will have eternal life." John 3:16.
It's your choice. This is how it is laid out......."Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." John 3:36
Choose life.

He sacrificed being an earthly King. Jesus's followers were ready to do battle to make him King of the people. He could have stopped the crucifiction and became an earthly King, but he chose instead to save humanity for eternity.
