What is this vehicle's reputation for reliability and fuel economy?

The CRV is one of the top ten most reliable cars of all time. (The Honda Accord is number 1). They get good mileage and yet have a peppy, smooth revving engine.

They are reliable safe and fun, but for towing and up hills they clapp out and become gutless. They are as safe as a Volvo I had a female driver cause an accident and I rolled my CRV 3.5 times. I got out after they cut the doors out.
I reckon they make a good family car for the Mrs's and economy but as far as power dont take them up hills.

They are good on gas as well as reliable
