It would appear so. The reasoning could be that people need to constantly reassure themselves to continue to believe in the existence of A God.

I thought the rule was that if you weren’t interested in serous answers, if you only asking questions because you liked the sound of your keyboard, you were supposed to complain that nobody gave you serous answers. Why else do so many good, thought provoking answers get thumbs down?
No answer is ever going to be good enough if you aren’t really looking for serous answers.
