My b/f and I were having some problems and he said we should take a break. I was at a very close guy friend's house and we were watching TV. I fell asleep in is arms(I had just taken home third in our conference/state finals and was exhausted) He is friends with my friend too. He called me the next day apologizing and I forgave him since he truly meant it and had changed.
Do I tell him?? It was innocent but a friend of mine had this happen and her b/f left her.
Do I tell or ask my guy friend to keep it quiet?? If I tell will he expect me to not do it again??
What do I do?
Does a few "bases" count as nothing??

what u did is nothing.

but if you are guilty, or somewhat your conscience hits you then tell your bf about it. if he gets mad, dump him. he is unreasonable.

or if you really love this guy then understand what will his reaction be.

Okay, if you just fell asleep in the guys arms AND NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED (i.e. kissing, touching), then you're safe. Then again, it depends on ur bf's perception of cheating. But, tell him. In a relationship, honesty is everything. So, tell him!!! I think thats what u should do

i dont think i would consider this cheating, but it does seem like you got a little "close" to the guy friend. but seems innocent. this is normal to seek comfort in someone elses arms, after all your boyfriend did want to take a break right? i would be honest and tell him. if he leaves you that relationship you had with him wasen't strong enough to last anyway.

questions will be raised. first off he is going to think hmmm. i break up with her and she ends up spending the night with our mutual friend. 90% of men will believe that your innocent night over was much more than that. remember that some people are really stupid. but by the sound of your post it sounds like he is a couple inches past just friends. you should repost your question and start with what really happened. one thing rings out in your question...in his arms. friends usually dont cuddle on the couch in each others arms, think about it. www.myspace.com/jimmycody

ok, tell the guy the truth. it will eventually come out, if you dont. it might be spilled by the guy friend. well, if you slept in his arms, i see it as being completely harmless. if you did stuff, then no. but you were taking a break. so it isnt really cheating. but just tell him the truth. i know that you dont want to, because you feel that he might leave you. always be honest, you have to be ready for the consequences, but i truly dont see anything wrong. especially if you were both taking a break.

Depends on how/why you ended up in another man's arms. If you feel guilty then perhaps there is more to the story. Look at it from you bf view, if he did it to you would it be cheating? As far as telling him, guilt overcomes in the end.

well, your bf said to take a break. you could do what ever you want with him. it doesn't really matter how many bases you made that night, you were single. but as for telling him. don't go out of your way to keep it secret. but i don't see a point in telling him. it's unnecessary info. like, "what happens in vegas stays in vegas" only, "what happens at your friends house, stays at your friends house"

you move pretty fast. don't hide it, just tell him. it isn't going to work out anyway. people don't change in a day. if you really liked him, too, you wouldn't have run a few bases with his friend.

of course it's not cheating......that's like saying if you sit next to a guy you don't love you bf.....tell him, don't tell him, it doesn't really make a difference since it's not a life-changing event. No big deal.....

no. if ur b/f said he wants to take a break those are key words meaning 'breaking up'. u should dump him and give the other guy a chance

Don't tell. It was innocent, but if you tell your BF he won't be happy.
Doesn't help that it was your BF's friend.

Rule of thumb: it's cheating if you can't tell your mate about it.
