i have just turned 13 and i am concerned about my weight.(i know you say i shouldn't worry about it because i'm young but i dont care) is there anyway i can lose weight in a few days? please help cheers xx

Dear XX,

Listen, if you are serious about losing some weight, you should at least give it a week or better - you probably wont see results before then. There are a lot of factors to consider in losing weight: metabolism, family history, amount of exercise, diet, and current health, just to name a few. Anyway, it sounds like your serious, and don't have a lot of time - so I'd say, try a week of this: any type of running, jogging, or aerobic workout 2-3 times a day, depending on what you can handle (working out doesn't do much good if you're too tired to do it properly), try skipping rope (it gives as good a workout as jogging, & its more fun!), eat 3 healthy meals a day: stick with lean beef, chicken or turkey, and wheat breads, no sodas (try different natural teas or water) and when you crave a snack, grab some fruit or yogurt! Finally XX, the most important rule is to stick to it. If you cheat, or get lazy (and it happens to us all) it will undo all your hard work very quickly. Check the scales after 1 week if you've been serious about it, and see how you did.

Smoke crack you will loose weight quickly. Just kidding. Don't do that. Crack is bad. You can safely loose about 10 lbs per month by a proper diet and exercise. Stay clear of the fad dietd because you will lose the pounds quickly but you will gain twice as much as you lost as soon as you come off the diet. I would sat for you to go out and run or bicycle for about an hour a day and watch what you eat

How much do you weigh? How much do you want to lose? Running miles will definitely burn calories! But to lose weight in a few days by running.. I would definitely run the extra mile! Also eat healthy, dieting that young may result badly so don't try that. Just eat right and exercise!

Well if you take a very risky diet like not eating a lot at all!
you might want to stop,because once you finally decide that you are thin enough you will problly stop that diet and your body will not respond the same way and you will probly gain weight again!
so if you really want to diet then do a nice proportionate one and whenever you feel the need to have junky food eat fruit, it works for me! and if you like to do a lot of activities, you can step it up a bit, maybe bring some friends!
im 13 too and I feel the same way!

If you have to lose any weight you need to do it slowly, a few days is not going to get weight off and keep it off;

The only safe and effective way to lose weight is to drink lots of water and get plenty of exercise. There is no easy way to do it. Its alot of hard work but worth it to be healthy

In a few days? No. It took me the whole summer to lose 60 and I am 23. You're so young.. If you are that concerned you should talk to your parents, maybe a dosctor to see what you shoulddo your your age and weigh class. Thats my Recommendation.

well technically there are many ways u can take vitamins u can excersise and u can do many things but the one i suggest it the one that always come on tv it is a drink that u drink every day that can let u lose wieght in weeks and even days i tried it and i lost 7pds in one week but dependin how much u wiegh u would lose more ok
