I guess years ago I may have seen what I had and not been so stubborn with the pressures of commitment that were thrown my way back then. I lost someone very dear due to not feeling ready and them running off with someone that was ready :-(

It would be nice to turn back time and do it different but then everything happens for a reason I suppose. Saying that though, still not had a lot of luck and still been hurt several more times along the way so changing that cycle would be good. Me being too soft and gullable and women picking up on that and using it against me perhaps? Not sure........

You never forget your first love or atleast I never have but then I am also realistic and know that she's probably married with kids by now and sitting living in the past is no good for you either. Moving on and look forward is the only way.

There's plenty of things I wish I had done different but turning back time and trying again might not be the answer. Who's to say I wouldn't still be taken hook line and sinker all over again and still make the same silly mistakes?

Never. I've been through hell and back with my soon-to-be ex husband, believe me. But this is the quote I live by, "It's all about growth and experience." I don't ever think of my marriage as a failure. I didn't fail. He didn't fail. We learned and grew from what we had. I am now in a very healthy relationship and had I not been married before and experienced everything I did, I would not be in this relationship and have it running so smoothly. It's amazing the things a person can learn from a mistake, including a bad relationship. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

Okay Cher...LOL!

I probably wouldn't change anything...as much as I wish things were different sometimes, the experiences I've had made me who I am today and I'm kewl with that person...

...and although I've really been attracted to and wanted to explore a relationship with various guys in the past, they didn't feel the same...and I'd never want to force that on anyone...I wouldn't "make" someone dig me, even if I could...

Yes, I would change some things but you can't turn back time so there's no point dwelling on the past!

Nothing happens by mistake. The only thing I could change is saying hurtful things to someone else. Hopefully, I don't.

One of my favorite songs.

Peace.

Of course. I think we would all change some things.
Since you quoted Cher, I'll quote Lonestar.
"The Good Lord gave us mountains, so we'd learn how to climb"

That's a hard one...

I would either get a different woman...
Or have the same woman and do things differently...

That is... assuming that I know what I know now.
However... I have my doubts that she would stay if I did things differently.

I would not have slept with my bf, I would have waited until we had gotten married. I am Christian and there is something to that statement that you reap what you sow and you lose God's protection if you sin.
