surgery tomrrow.?

what could happen if you are having surgery and the person who puts you to sleep tells you not to eat or drink getting prepared for bowl prep and you do it. is it life threating.

Yes...if you have food and liquids in your stomach...when you are put under...you could involuntarily vomit and choke to death. If you have eaten...you need to let them know.

yes it could be due to you might vomit while under anesthetic. if you vomit you might choke and there is little that they can do or once you wake up from surgery you will be very sick and might rip out the staples depending where you had surgery
