and anti-amnesty people think with their heads?

It seems like the pro-amnesty people only have "feelings" to back up their claim that they belong here...while anti-amnesty people have FACTS. Even though the pro-amnesty people don't want to educate themselves and learn what they are.

Pro-amnesty people do not think period. You are being too kind to say that they do. The only way to make them think is to put amnesty in terms that they can understand. Ask them how much they are willing to contribute out of their personal funds. Send them a separate tax bill entitled "illegal alien support tax" See how many contribute then. Most pro amnesty people are so because it does not affect them. They are well insulated from the consequences. The minute it does begin to affect them see how fast they change their tune.

Is this a question or a statement?

The pro-amnesty side of the illegal immigrant debate has a number of factors, and it's not all "heart and emotion." True, there is the ever-present sentiment that "people shouldn't be punished for their wrongs, but embraced for their faults". There's also the business concern, as there are many farms, small businesses, and larger corporations that have been capitalizing on the much-cheaper illegal labor to help defer the operating expenses of their businesses and don't want to see that go away. There's also the political aspect of the pro-amnesty side that is attempting to placate a certain ethnic voter base in order to keep elected positions. Then there's also a concern for the exceptional costs that would be incurred by attempting to enforce the laws as they stand right now which include detention, prosecution, and deportation.

The anti-amnesty side has many aspects to it as well. Among those aspects is the "letter of the law", in which there is a conviction that all criminals should be held to account for their crimes, regardless of the intent behind the crime. There is the consideration for the economic impact of illegal aliens on society, including the loss of jobs for legal citizens, depletion of social services resources and health care, the imbalance created in the economy by people working and not contributing to the welfare of the locality, state, and country, and the increase in unemployment for legal workers. There are concerns for the conditions under which illegal immigrants are working, being denied protections by labor laws and employment rights and by unscrupulous employers that are exploiting people for profit. There's also concerns for social health, as illegal immigrants are more likely to contribute to the spread of illness and disease because of a reluctance to seek medical attention when they first get ill. There's also a heavy presence of bigotry on the anti-amnesty side that serves to give concern for violence in the communities in regards to illegal aliens.

Truth be told, I don't think anyone wants to truly just arbitrarily kick people out of the country.
But some other people just can't separate their humanity from the reality.

Illegal is illegal - there's no debate there, none.

People who enter this country illegally have broken a Federal law - if they stay, they inevitably find it necessary to break numerous other laws (identification theft, false SS numbers, several aliases, welfare fraud and so on).

There's not a lot of choices here -
Either we prosecute and deport illegal immigrants or we open our borders and scrap the law, simple as that.

Let the numbers speak for themselves. Pro-amnesty people don't want to start spouting numbers, because it would show the true cost of their invasion. Lies can't cover facts. They cost American taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars, commit a horrific number of crimes, and do not contribute to the economy like their lie would like you to believe. "Your economy would collapse without us" is another popular lie. It would not collapse at all. In fact, it would thrive if they all left.

I don't think that they "think" at all, to be honest with you. Why would you even CONTEMPLATE thinking with your heart when these people are disrespecting our country?

They're thinking that, just like always, the Repubs are wrong, and so, if that's the case, they must be right.

Thinking doesn't come anywhere into that picture, though, girl.

Oh my goodness, when are you going to stop such STUPID questions? I have told you there are actual HISTORICAL AAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDD POLITICAL EVENTS backing up my beliefs. I don't only judge with my "heart" and "feelings," I also understand that illegal immigration is a situation THE GOVERNMENT OF THE USA HAS PROVOKED BY INTERVENING IN LATIN AMERICAN POLITICS AND INDUSTRIES. Our government screwed up those countries MORE than they already were, and that made people want to start emigrating to the more powerful country. It's not about "look at me I'm poor," It's about paying for the many mistakes our government has made. BESIDES that, heart also comes into play, don't you feel compassionate for anyone on this Earth? Don't you care about anyone but you and your family???? That's why the world looks at us as SELFISH AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!! You give us ALL a bad image, you are the worst this country could EVER have!!!! Now, please, do us all a favor and quit posting such stupid, ignorant, and retarded questions!!!!
