If Adam and Eve were proved to have not existed (no garden of eden, no original sin, etc), wouldn't your entire religion collapse? Without Adam and Eve, there would be no sin for Jesus to die for, right? No Adam and Eve, no "Son of god", no god. Or, would you be able to make something up in order to conitinue to justify your beliefs?

Adam and eve already have been proven a false story through evolution. The religious simply refuse to accept it, instead saying ridiculous things like "it is just a theory", "macro evolution hasn't been proven", and my favorite "if we evolved from monkeys then why are there still monkeys?"...things that can be easily answered if you spend FIVE MINUTES researching evolution. They also seem to not care that people MUCH smarter than them have proven it as true...including OVER SEVENTY Nobel Laureates

In an intellectual war between faith and proof, rational reason often loses.
You can't ultimately prove a negative really like this. Thankfully science sets out to prove things that are real, not to disprove things that are imaginary.
Until a way to communicate the process of faith-creation to the average person has been discovered, unreasoned faith will not be collapsed. One day I have hopes that videos like the YouTube create your own cult video, will enlighten people to the process that creates rock solid fellings of faith in imaginary belief systems. When enough people understand this process, religion will be reinvented. And the existence of Adam and Eve won't be a question asked.

I am Muslim and we believe in Adam and Eve but not original sin. this is the first of mainly only differance in our religions. Yes Original sin is insane to believe. Why would God do such a thing? Why would Jesus a human ever die for us? That is very dumb to think. No man dies for us we die for us.

If they were proven false, me beliefs wouldn't collapse because I still know from my own experiences that there is a God, but I may have to rethink some doctrines I believe. However, if Adam and Eve were proven to HAVE existed, would you believe in God?

i'm not often able to keep up along with your thoughts. i am going to attempt to furnish you what the bible says and what i have self assurance on the count number. it truly is a very troublesome question to respond to with no lengthy diatribe. yet as short as i can make it, God created Adam. The bible says from the airborne dirt and mud or clay of the floor. This change into merely to furnish us a concept, it truly is to not say it truly is exactly how God created Adam. each imaginitive day change right into a lot longer than our 24 hour day. It change right into a time period of unknown length. i have self assurance that on a daily basis change right into a minimum of 6,000 years lengthy because the bible in no way suggested that the seventh day has ended. considering bible chronology places the introduction of Adam contained in the year 4027 it means that the seventh day has lasted 6035 years so some distance. Adam change into created on the suitable of the sixth day. We do do not ignore that from Adam and Eve different diverse races and actual useful factors got here about. it truly is the same with all different animals. we've many diverse searching animals that originated with one pair. the way that scientist have dated particular issues from the a lengthy time period hasn't ever been extremely precise. Carbon relationship relies upon on a similar amout of carbon being disbursed at one time which hasn't ever been the case. It fluctuates. So, carbon relationship can't be good. The bible says that contained in the starting up "God created the heavens and the earth" inspite of the indisputable fact that the bible does not say even as that change into and it obviously might want to be billions of years in the past. In Genesis a million:2 starts the frame of mind of God making waiting the earth for guy. the diverse creatures you discuss might want to were diverse kinds of animals which have died off or they could be deformed people. Like dwarfs and human beings which have deformities that cause them to strengthen very tall. inspite of. Adam and Eve lived the kind of lengthy time period because they were created ideal. It took them a lot longer to placed on out and die. contained in the intervening time they'd round fifty six little ones. God had instructed them to change into fruitful and multiply and that is what they did.

Adam and eve were set in an ideal place, where sin did not exist, and only one temptation, and the transgression of curiosity led to the sin that drove them out this testing place.

In all honesty if you could prove Adam and Eve were false it would collapse my belief that the bible is 100% true on the other hadn if you thought you could prove it I would find a way to prove you wrong.

What is there to prove it false since it is a matter of faith to begin with. We believe of the short age of the earth and in Jesus Christ, God's only perfect representation of Himself. Just because you have been bombarded and taught about long time earth's existence does not mean the rest of us

if adam and eve never existed sin still would. sin will always be around and it couldn't have been created from just one source. sin is always evolving. besides, adam and eve is not the base of christianity. we don't base our religion solely off their action. our religion comes from many different parts of the bible. if i had to choose just one part that it is based off, i would choose the ten commandments.

i think adam and eve is really just a parable anyway. and i'm a christian.
