I have been in the dating scene for 6 years. It has finally worked. I finally met someone who isn't married, a lier, a druggy, a drunk, a perv, a player, you name it. he ain't it. Keep looking, be selective, don't settle for less then you deserve. Older men are not always the answer. Every age has it's benefits and faults, find the right one for you!

What do you man being honest and up front doesn't work?

Does that mean you have a lot of short relationships, first dates only, etc, good.

The point is to not waste time with those who you are not compatible with. Only about 1 in a 100 are really compatible.

So if you are totally honest up front you can screen out all rocks quickly until you find a diamond.

I am going through the same thing right now so I really don't have answer for you. The one thing I keep hearing people say to me is men hate confrontation, and that they know our whole lives before we know a fraction of theirs. I am also being told that men take a little longer to come around, some of them are still immature so their idea of game playing in their heads make sense. Last, I am being told if you wait until they come around they will give you there whole world the thing is us as women tend to be a little on the patience side when it comes to our tolerance of men but sometimes even we have to say the hell with this. Good luck.

I agree, but I believe that we as women don't take time to listen to men. We are to busy chatting and trying to please. the first thing you do when you meet a man is listen. By listening you can tell what it is he wants. Men are shy by nature and use jokes and games to get across what it is that they really want to say. They are really insecure, so they play games to feel at ease. It doesn't mean that you go and analyze everything that he say but pay attention. Start developing this skill by learning to listen just like when you listen to your favorite song and catch all the lyrics it's the same thing. So you will be able to beat them at their own games. Second don't be so quick to tell all, a man never tell all just bits and pieces here and there when he feels that he might lose you. Be a little reserve so you can listen and not get played. Hope this helps

Try meeting man in a different atmosphere then you are now. Also go for the older guys. They are more mature and responsible. Also they are usually past that stage and are ready to settle down. I'm almost 25 and my hubby is 36 and our relationship is WONDERFUL!

Good Luck!

Because we haven't come nearly as far from our primal origins as we so arrogantly love to think we have LOL. When it comes to the mating game, we are still powerfully governed by the exact same "mating rituals" that we know so well in other animals where it is a vitally important element, because a strong healthy male can do all that fancy strutting and "showing off" for the female who instinctively makes the connection between "energy level" and health and strength, which is important for genetic excellence.
In the human species, we most of us are attracted to that "healthy virile" look How many women would really, honestly, deliberately pick a seedy little 120 pound runt of a guy with a sickly complexion over a strapping, muscular, power-pack like John Cena? LOL We may not even be aware of why, we just know that this is what attracts us , and once again, Mother Nature has it all worked out. Powerful appearance... radient energy, strength, all telegraph one thing... "good genetic material" - and in humans, it also hints at "good income potential" which is definitely something a woman would like to see in the future father of her dependent offspring.
The male, on the other hand, is lured by physical beauty, and then after that he feels compelled to "do his mating ritual" in order to strut his stuff and show her what a fine Peacock he is lol. There have actually been some interesting studies done on human "mating behaviours". Of course, in our advanced society, things have got more complex, and we are governed by social laws that don't allow the "strongest male" to larrup the tar out of a competitor for the attentions of the same female.. In the animal kingdom the weakest males usually don't get the best mating opportunities. With humans, not only the weakest, but often also the unhealthiest male still gets to marry somebody, and produce offspring. But it is vital in the wild that only the strongest healthiest get to breed because, after all, they don't have the advantages of hospitals and doctors the way we do.
I probably wont make many friends saying this, but if I were a young woman today wanting to marry and have a family, in the interests of my children's health and longevity, I would absolutely want to know about my future mate's health and genetic history. Things still come out of left field, even when you have taken all precautions, but at least I would want to know I had done absolutely everything possible to give my future children the best fighting chance of living in this world in as genetically healthy condition as I could have aimed for. I don't see a thing wrong with that. After all, when women find themselves unable to conceive and decide to go to a Sperm Bank, that is what these places are obligated to do before they accept a male donor - check that guy fifteen ways from Sunday to make as sure as they possibly can that his genetic material looks normal, and has no flaws that might lead to all kinds of health anomalies once they are born.
. Life ain't easy in these increasingly sophisticated, and high-pressure times we live in. In the words of a certain well known song....."What's love got to do with it?" LOL. I would want genes to be a very high priority when it came to reproduction.

You should date older men. On the average they are more straight-forward and reliable than younger men.
