How can I get my hair darker?

I just recently highlighted my hair and it turned my hair ridiculously light. My natural hair color is pretty much black and the highlights are a really light brown and it looks horrible. How can I darken the highlighted hair without redying it, and preferably with in home items?

i know you said without re-dying it but i believe that 'nice 'n' easys' root touch up is very good in these situations! and its very cheap! good luck! ive had many hair catastrophes myself so i know what im talking about! i dont believe there is away of getting this out without dying over it! unless of course it is only semi perm in which case you could just was it lots of times! hope i helped!

you can't
you higlighted your hair you broke down the protiens in your hair, might have to re-dye them to get them to a normal color
even if you use a cheap coloring like colorsilk 2.99 miss it put it in your hair 15 mins and rinse, get like a light brown .... or even try something diffrent, like a nice auburn it looks nice against drak hair ... sorry that was my opinion
some try to rinse there hair with black coffee, but I don't know if that really works

i'm not sure if this is possible, but worst case, buy a hairbox of black dye and do it over the highlights

u could use dying shampo..on the parts you need to darken..use a shde of dark brown on the parts you want to make it darker..use it reguraly guess it'll help...there is 1 kind of that shampoo called henara..but there are others

use a color rinse because further dying may cause damage to the hair
