Wrap tightly in freezer paper. (Freezer burn comes from moisture loss in the freezer.) or Vacuum seal.
Label clearly with type of meat, date frozen and use by date.
Use in 3 months.

Wrap them well in freezer paper - don't just put in the freezer in the store wrapping unless it will only be there for a couple days.

Don't keep in the freezer too long - if you do, even meat wrapped in freezer paper can dry out.

you can wrap them really tight in freezer paper or if you have a vacuum sealer use that. what ever you do make sure no air can get to the meat that is what causes freezer burn.

When I divvy up hamburger (I buy it in bulk on sale), I wrap it tightly in waxtex (like wax paper sheets), then put them in ziplock bags and before closing them completely I squish all the air out. Works like a charm!

I double wrap in two plastic bags.
