Pretty much all the common antidepressants cause some type of withdrawal symrtoms. You should go back to the doctor and look at finding another drug which suits you better;

Absolutely those weird feelings are symptoms of withdrawl. Usually you dont just stop cold turkey from these drugs , but are weened off them.These affects should subside for the most part within 3 or 4 days although you may feel tired or sluggish for a week or two after stopping altogether. Just try to eat right and get plenty of rest . You should however talk to your doctor and describe whats happening, especially if your being treated for depression . Most likely you need a different prescription. You shouldnt start taking any drug not prescribed , and never stop taking drugs prescribed without first talking to your doctor.

But you should be fine after a week or so, I feel wonderful now. I keep myself busy with church and friends. I journal and I just don't need the meds anymore.I am fine.No more chemical imbalance.

Most antildepressants should not be stopped without slowly weaning yourself off of them.
I'm sorry the Lexapro didn't work for you. I took me several tries before I found one that worked for me, without making me feel like there was a drug running through my system. Some made me feel weird, one made me really mean, one put 25 lbs on me in no time flat, and one made me forget my kids names. Finally, when I didn't want to try any more meds, I agreed to try one more. Wellbutrin. It works great for me, and I have zero side effect. You need to find the right one for you. Don't give up. Good luck to you.

Yes! You can seriously get really sick! You need to talk to your doctor because there is a bunch other meds that may be better. It's a process of elimination until you find the right one for you. my cousin is now legally mentaly disabled because she stopped cold turkey instead of going off them little by little. Call your doctor NOW!
