Absolutely!! I've never stopped! Am 77 and I'm a Grandma-Active-In-Learning! It keeps my mind working, eager about the world and life! I love languages, but am not particularly good at them. I learned Japanese and to read Hiragana and Katakana while I lived there; French and Spanish. Am going to take Italian this Spring. Current Events; History--all help keep one's mind ACTIVE, INTERESTED in life; and meeting interesting people!
OH! And I kept going back to school every 10 years. In fact, I paid off my last student loan the year I retired at 66. Was a teacher and a therapist for 21 yrs working with very troubled adolescents. LOVED IT ALL! It sure beats the clerk-typist jobs I had to take before!! GO FOR IT!!!
I actually need a good spelling course, but use spell check--if I think of it. (THERE, I just corrected "absolutley"!)
