I've repented before but never really showed it with a changed life. First, How do I really truly do it this time? Secondly, How do I carry it out? Christians please answer my question.

Don't try to prove anything. God knows that while in the flesh we are going to sin; He came in the flesh so that you would know that He understands what its like to be in the flesh. Also, God knows exactly what you are thinking. If you are sincere, but just fell short, He already knows that. Talk to Him. He is your Heavenly Father - the closest relative you have. Repent again.
Tell him that its your desire to change your life, but you need help and are afraid you might fail again. A drug addict might pray to God and say that they sincerelly never want to do drugs again. They may be very sincere, too. But when they start to withdrawl and are sick to the point of wanting death, quess what - they are going to cop dope, period. So, its best to be honest with God; Tell him you're not sure you are able to stop, but you'll try.
I'm winging it here, because you didn't mention what the problem is exactly, but i do know that God expects you to do the best you can, and if you are trying, then i don't care if you fall short a hundred times this week, repent a hundred times from the heart. If its something that you can't control, Ask for His help. Don't try to go it alone without Him. He knows if you are trying, and so you keep that communication with Him open and remember this:
In the flesh we are made to only handle 24 hours at a time -
don't overwhelm yourself with more than that. take each day as it comes as an opportunity to move toward your goal. With His help, you will finally meet that goal. He will not put on you more than you are able to bare. Christ died for us so that upon repentance we can have a fresh start, a new opportunity to do it different. Today is your new fresh start: Thank Him for it, and simply do the best you can.

You don't have to prove anything to God. He knows your heart better than you do. If you've really repented and want to change your life, He knows your sincerity. Temptation is everywhere. Right when you give your heart to Christ, Satan wants to immediately tell you that "oh it's just a feeling right now. Just wait, the feeling will go away and you'll return to your old ways. You'll fail again, just like last time and the time before." Don't let him feed you these lies. What you need to do is read your Bible. even if you don't really understand it, read it anyway. Build your faith in God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Take time in the morning to just read maybe 1 or 2 chapters. Seriously, this will help. you will start to feel yourself changing. Maybe not at first, but trust God. He's faithful. 2nd, how do you carry it out? Don't worry about that. Don't even worry right now about carrying it out or proving that you're serious. Focus on God. You're like a glass of water. Fill yourself up with God's living water so much that it just overflows and it will naturally come out of you in everything you do. Lastly, we all sin. Christians still sin. But don't beat yourself up for it. When you find yourself sinning, ask God for forgiveness with the boldness that you're already forgiven and then move on. The devil would love for you to dwell on your SIN. But don't, dwell on God instead. I wish you blessings on your walk.

God knows your heart, and how you really feel. You can't repent on your own power, you need the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. Pray to God, and ask Him for forgiveness, and tell Him you want Him to enter your heart. Read the Bible everyday, do some Bible study, and you will change. Not only will this life change, but you will have an eternal life with God in Heaven.

God knows your heart...you can't prove anything to God. He knows. It sounds like you were SAVED but still living as one who is not saved. That happens... But now you feel the need to get right with God. You should go to an old fashioned altar and tell God how sorry you are for living lake a devil after He so graciously saved you. To repent means to change your mind and go in a different direction. You are always going to sin because it is in our nature to sin. However, now the Holy Spirit will nag at you when you are doing something you shouldn't be doing. Ask God to help you to over come the sin in your life.

Repent means to to turn away and go the opposite direction. None of us can live the holy life which God demands without the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Satan will continue to attack and tempt you, especially when you endeavour to be obedient to God's Word. Jesus Christ, through His Holy Spirit, changes us. Once you are born again you are a new creature. Behold the old things have passed away and all things become new. You can't prove anything to God except your willingness to be obedient to His Word. You must commune daily with the Lord and you must spend time studying and meditating on The Holy Bible. The Bible is essential for Christians. It is one of the weapons of our warfare. We use it defensively, offensively and to reach others for Christ. Set aside a time each day when you can focus completely on the Lord and His Word. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. You also need to find a Christian church which believes and teaches the entire Bible. A church where you feel comfortable and where you know the Holy Spirit is working -attend regularily. Whenever we, as Christians, stumble we need to go immediately to God in prayer. Trust everything The Holy Bible teaches. Do not doubt. Place your entire faith in the Lord and in His Word. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Ask God for faith, strength to live a holy life and all the "fruit of the Spirit". Don't give up, ever. Fight the good fight of faith. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Have other Christians pray with and for you. Ask the Lord to fill you with His promised Holy Spirit. God always kepps His promises. Get into Christian apologetics as this will help to strenghten your faith and prepare you to defend that faith. See resources listed below. I have prayed for you. God bless and be strong in the strength of the Lord and in the power of His might
Do your best and let God do the rest

You don't have to "prove" anything to God, He knows your heart. And if you aren't truly repentant, He will know.

There is a good solution to this. Pray. Ask God to help you live for Him. Just pray and read your Bible every day. It's that simple. You'll find answers in there, and you'll get to know God and love Him.

Well, I'm in the same boat, so it's like the blind leading the blind here sweet pea.....but honestly---who's to say the blind can't lead another?......

So I suppose it depends on your religion.....But for the most part....God knows you are sorry......but it goes back to the classic question your mum used to ask you..."are you sorry because you were wrong, or because you got caught?" God knows if you're just saying sorry because you kinda feel bad.......you've not only gotta repent.....but you've gotta pray for strength in the time of temptation......

but like i told you....i'm in the same boat....so your strength pray might seem to be on back-order!.......but I'm sure that if you ask yourself before doing something sinful....WWJD (what would jesus do?) then you'll prolly find strength to stay clean of the situation after repenting.....

We like, all of us humans, to think that there is something we can do in a minute, like repent, that will give us certainty. The difficulty that we have, we humans, is that what we're required to do is behave in a decent manner each minute of every day. We enjoy thinking that some grand instant moment of "Salvation" will take care of the tedious business of quotidien decency. It won't. You're stuck. If you want to be a "good person" it's a day-at-a-time, lifetime job.

You do not need to prove anything to God. Christ has already redeemed you,and you did not even need that! God loves you as you are, with your struggling and efforts. Ask for God's help in prayer each day to be what you are striving to be...more loving? peaceful toward yourself and others? accepting of all of God's creations? a thoughtful son, partner, parent? Unlike what most of us were taught growing up, God is NOT keeping a scoresheet, but rather is full of grace and we are ALL loved. Start by loving yourself and simply act from THAT faith, each day and every moment that you can be mindful of it! God loves you...can you love you?

First of all GOD already knows whether you are for real or just playing games.
the only way you can rid yourself of the stumbling blocks in your life is to do away with them.
What I mean is separate yourself from those people that are holding you back.
Immerse yourself in His Word, pray for strength and guidance.
May the Lord GOD of all creation, Bless You and lift you up, protect you and guide you.
