You don't unless you want to wind up quite ill.
It's got to be done sensibly. You didn't gain it in five months and can't lose it that fast.
Choose a sensible eating plan, coupled with exercise, starting slowing on both the changes in eating and exercise. This is a lifelong endeavor. If you try to rush you'll just gain it all back and probably even more than you lost.
Consider plans like Weight Watchers where you'll have group support. It's a great motivator. It's important to find a plan that includes all the foods you like so switching from one plan to another while losing is always a good idea.
I lost 67 lbs. on Weight Watchers with no problem but got bored eating that way on a permanent basis. I eventually gained all my weight back. In early 2004 I discovered Atkins, the real Atkins and not what the media portrays. I've kept off the 70 lbs. You might want to check out the Weight Loss forum at About.com. There are posters on all different plans as well as good articles. It might help you make a decision as to which plan is best for you to start with. You'll also find great motivation and support there.

I can give you 1 easy tool to help you lose those 100 lbs. There are 3,500 calories in 1lb. of fat, therefore, you must burn 3,500 calories more than you eat to burn 1lb. of fat. So, to burn 100 lbs. in 5 months you will have to burn 350,000 calories more than you eat in 5 months. This means that every month you will have to burn 70,000 more calories than you take in that month. This is possible, but it will take a lot of hard work and exercise to accomplish this on your end. Good luck
