it was a New York track and when it was wet .sloppy nasty weather .just before the streach he would take the horse wide (like the parking lot) then come flying down the streach nobody else could do it some try to no sucess

Are you thinking of Bobby Ussery???.......(Pardon my spelling of his last name).......He used to come down, what was called by trackgoers, Ussery's Alley.......This is going back many years and I'm not sure this is the time period you're asking about.....CAT
