God doesn't need any rest.

God created for six days. On the seventh he rested. Why did he need the rest?
If we knew the answer to that, maybe it would shed some light on what he did the day after that, the eighth day.

The 7 day thing is so false. God is God he does not need rest that is stupid to even think. Men rest but God is no man.

(Exo. 31:17) "For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed."
(Quran 50:38) "We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six days, nor did any sense of weariness touch us."

Hung out with his creation. I.E. Adam and Eve. Notice he was walking with them in the Garden.
