I am a 24 year old guy. I have yet to experience love but that is what I hope and dream about all the time. So should I stop hoping love is going to find me? Because as I get older and older I worry that I am never going to get to experience love. Should I just tell myself if it happens it happens. If it doesn’t it doesn’t. Because every time I hope for it to happen and it doesn’t it makes me really miserable. I guess some of us wasn’t meant to experience real love was we?

Honestly, I think everyone thinks this at some point in their life. All I can say is it happens when it happens but when it does don't be afraid to take that leap. There is always going to be the fear that it will not work or it won't last but it the end if you find the right person it will all be ok.

Absolutely!
You can't dream for it, you can't hope for it,
and you can't wait for it. Life is not going to
knock on your door. If you want to get
something done you make a plan. Like
losing weight. You plan, diet and exercise.
Once your body is strong, that's not the end.
Now you have to make your mind as strong.
You can not remain your same old shy self.
You have to put yourself out there. Start by
going to busy places. Just start talking with people
until you feel comfortable. Join a health club,
just to be around more people. Go shopping,
out to dinner, to the movies, join a hiking club.
Sign up for a college class at night.
Where ever you have to go to meet more people.
Don't worry about meeting the perfect one....
just work on your people skills. Wear your
available face. Others will know when you are looking.
It's not so hard as it sounds. Millions are doing it
every single day. While you are busy building
better body image and making your mind stronger,
Miss Right may be serving you your next cup of coffee,
or sitting next to you in the movies. She may be at
the health club, or in your night class. You will have to
get out there , but I bet she will find you.
When she does don't expect the whole package to present
itself all at once, take your time, open up your gift
one page at a time. Like a book that just keeps getting better.

give it some time, your only 24. I didn't love anyone until i was about 22. Thats normal. When the time comes and the right woman you will know . You can't be looking for it. It only happens when you least expect it. Get out there have some sex and run around with some women so you can sew your wild oats and you will eventually run into the right one. I'm 34 and I wish I was in your position and wasn't held down and all that. You are 24, live your life.

The more new people you meet the better chance you have of finding that One Special Person. Try online dating...if only to make new friends. Give time for friendships to form and dont rush in. Take your time and you will find a love worth waiting for!

just be wait love will come on it own don't ever rush anything. And enjoy every free minutes that you have right know. Because once you get a girl she is going to want to be with u 24/7

Love isn't going to find you. You find love.
And to be honest, I agree that some people just aren't meant to find THE ONE... but you are 24 years old. You have plenty of time to look. (And stop looking to the stars.... check out the girl sitting next to you at the cafe. Start close by.)

I don't think you should ever give up. I know it's hard finding some one that is just for you, but it takes some time, there are so many people in the world. You'll find one when the time comes, just be patient.

You'll find love one day. It just takes time. Have you dated people recently or gotten to know any special women? You will find love so don't give up. It'll find you when you least expect it.

No! dont give up hope please! Some ppl tend to believe that one doesnt have someone to love...love takes it's time...and it's different for everyone. it takes patience...a lot of it. So just hang in there! *hugs* It took me 18 yrs and for some ppl sooner and for some longer. so just hang in there...when you find love, you'll be uber happy!

i felt the same way u did. i thought i would never find love or be able to experience it....but i had to learn that there was someone out there who i knew loved me, and i've finally found that person....you are still young! i'm 18. i'm surprised i found love at my age....dont sell yourself short...i'm sure your a wonderful person! Just let that be known!
