The only hero's of this "War" are the people that stand up against it. There are many victims, and many that die heroically, but in the end, the only ones that will benefit from this, are the oil companies and the countries that profit from that oil. Oh yeah, Dick Chaney and Haliburton! Dick Chaney got an 8 million dollar tax refund last year from his interests in Haliburton! To be a hero, you must die for a cause, not kill for one. Why aren't we over in Africa stopping the slaughter there? Because they have no oil. Bush invaded Iraq to finish a job his father couldn't. If they want change, it is up to the people there, not an outsider that comes in and makes it the way they want just to benefit themselves. Even though our dead soldiers are hero's, so too are all of the Iraqi people that have lost their lives from this mess.

I don't think there is a singular hero. There are many people who are truly heros in this senseless war. Although I don't support the Iraq war, I definitely support our troops. They are most definitely heros. I also think those in our government who are fighting to get our troops out are heros. I also think the Iraqi soldiers and citizens are heros in this too. They have shown resilience through this horrible unheaval of civil war.
George W. Bush is DEFINITELY not a hero though. Neither is Donald Rumsfield, Dick Cheney, or anyone on the Bush cabinet who supports this war.

No one, war is hell. Too many die. Did you see today's
paper? Those nuts in Iraq, are calling Saddam a hero, and they are weeping for him. They also vow revenge, after he killed
hundreds of their own people. The world is NUTS!
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Who ever wins will decide who the hero was, however there is also the possibility that the hero will vary depending on what country you are in.
