You sound very young. Don't worry about the crickets in tomato sauce. It's not a big deal. All processed foods have an allowable percentage of insect parts permitted in processing. You either go completely obsessive and make all your own food or just live happy and forget about it. That's what they mean when they say ignorance is bliss.

You know, in many other cultures, they eat all types of insects. They even have canned insects. They really are a cheap and plentiful source of food largely ignored by a McSociety.

Did you know that chickens who free feed contain a much larger amount of omega 3 oils than even the chickens who are fed omega 3 foods? Guess what the chickens are eating a lot of? Insects!

Gman is right. the FDA permits a set level of "things" such as insect parts, in all processed foods.

Do get over it or skip all processed foods.
