Fluoxetine is the generic drug name for the brand name Prozac. The Mfg PAR means it is manufactured by Pharmaceutical Inc. The Mfg EON means it is manufactured by EON Laboratories Manufacturing Inc. Hope this helps!

Fluoxetine is the same thing as Prozac....the first is the chemical name, the second is the trademark name. I think the PAR/EON stuff is just refering to the manufacturer (?)

.....only one company can use the name "Prozac", but once a formula goes generic, many companies can manufacture the equivalent and offer it for a better price. Fluoxetine is the generic version of Prozac.
