For one thing Jesus lived a long long time ago. If you look closely at the church people's views, and if you have a solid understanding of the Bible, you will see that their religion is nothing like the religion that Jesus had.

Just one example: How many Baptists do you know who have sold all their possessions and given the proceeds to the poor?
This was Jesus's third requirement for entering into Heaven, yet Baptists will tell you they're saved already, cause they've done the special incantation at the preacher's altar.

Church people are full of deceit and ignorance.

The appropriate response is that the Word of God is more than two sentences long, and that if a person absolutely does not want to hear any of this "Jesus stuff" then so be it. We are not here to force anybody into heaven. It is your ship, and you go ahead and sail it. The responsibility of a Christian is to tell the truth of God, hoping that the person will take interest and the seed planted will grow. But we as people do not cause that seed to grow, we can only plant it. God makes seed grow. It may be that it is not time for that person to have ears to hear - only God knows that - but once we as christians have planted that seed, then if you want to go straight to hell, quess what? We are not accountable. If someone asks me that same question, I would tell them to stop mocking God and sail their ship straight to hell if thats their true desire. God will give you exactly what you ask for.

If I can convince you in two sentences, then someone else can convince you otherwise in three. You must be thoroughly convinced in your own mind, and not follow others.

Ask them to invite the Holy Spirit to speak to them about Jesus.

In all honesty bow your head and pray that the Holy Spirit comes upon you and that the Holy Spirit gives you the words to say. And believe it or not it will be granted to you. Trust me its happened to me many times and what I said wasn't even a complete sentence.

I think you would be wasting your time. This would not be some kind of test to see what you can say in two sentences. I would walk away.

One sentence is all you will need to convince that person.
Believe in Jesus Christ or you will die by my sword.

Only God can change a heart. I pray in the name of His son that He will show you the truth, the life, and the way.

think about the times when you have no answer and no control of what is going on in your life, and thats when you know Jesus must be a force in your life.
