Just say I die and god says to me 'Welcome to heaven my son, come on in'.

Can I refuse? Can I say I want to go to hell? Can I just drop by hell for a few minutes to see how bad it really is... maybe say Hi to a few old friends?

At first this sounds silly but is actually a VERY good question that I've never thought of before. I don't know but I'd imagine that the desire to enter the pleasures of heaven would be so strong (like anticipating a million times more pleasure than say a Herion hit or an awesome orgasm) that no one would resist entry. Of course all of this gets rendered as useless speculation if heaven doesn't exist.

They could have hired a new security team. This happened recently at Legends bar in Brighton. The hetero males and one lesbian took to refusing entry even to long-standing customers (including big-spending regulars) who did not look like twittering little queans. That's what heteros and some lesbians think gay men should look like. I hear it has stopped now, but I am not sure, as I don't go there anymore.

Everyone has a free will oh wait that's only when you follow the script. God should already know all so you wouldn't be able to pull the thank's but no thank's routine. You may not even have to worry about it. Everything may just be over when you die and if so then you won't know the difference. Then again you could just wait and see what kind of mood you're in when you get there.

interesting question. If God welcomes you into heaven, then you have accepted Christ as your Savior, and you would not even want to visit hell. You would be grieving that those friends are not in heaven with you. Choice of heaven is now, not when you face your maker.

Yes, if you are working as a doorman at a nightclub called "Heaven", you can refuse entry to heaven.

A similar scenario to what you have described happened in a movie called "Heaven Can Wait".

Also, Iron Maiden released a song of the same title, but it was rubbish!

You shouldn't dismiss heaven just like that.
Write off for a brochure on both and make an informed choice; may also help to ask some people who've been there too for first hand accounts.

no. although while your in the world you can not accept him as your savior and then when you die you will have no choice but to go to hell. and how bad is it really? there is no Holy Spirit no Father no Jesus there. that is complete seperation from God! not to mention the torture! nothing is worse than hell. its hate and dispare that cant even be explained. also once you got up to heaven you wouldent want to be any where else.

Am I the only one that sees the humor in questions like these. Its amazing the comical stuff people can sit around and think up. I see it as a talent..but to answer your question...uh yeah, why not. My question is why would there have to be gates there in the first place if nobody unrighteous enters into the kingdom?

Um if you are truly a Christian you won't want to in the first place. And when you get to heaven you will be in awe of God, and not want to go anywhere he is not. And Hell is where he is not.
I recommend you listen to two things:
23 minutes in Hell (A story about a dream one guy had about hell, he uses Bible references for everything he saw in his dream)
I can only imagine - MercyMe

If you don't want to go you will never be asked in after your death. If you go to hell, you will never get back until you are judged and sent to the lake of fire.. It is just like Saddam, he was still declaring himself as the rightful president of Iraq, and they hung him. Words without meaning as he could do nothing. You will be even more helpless in the hands of an angry God..
