I heard the illegals broke into a session of Texas legislature holding up picket signs saying "RAISE THE PRICE OF SMOKES, WE WORK HARD LIKE YOU FOLKS"

No, I seriously doubt it. The government needs to find a way to increase taxes and raising sin tax is an obvious place to get it. Now the cigarette costs in Texas are probably about equivalent to most other states, because when I was there, they were pretty cheap.

To an extent...Politicians, raise cigarette taxes whenever they need $$$$$....If the Illegals are costing too much, then they need fresh $$$ so they can continue giving them Food Stamps, Section 8 Housing, Welfare, Social Security, etc etc etc.

Cigarettes are the easiest way to tax people for illegal immigrants. That way, it's just more money that's NOT coming out of our paychecks to support illegals.
Please, before you post anything else as ignorant as this, find out how much money the American government is spending on illegals.

Cigarettes are always cheaper at pharmacies. Places like Walgreens and CVS. A gas station would be more expensive.
