Actually very respectful- islam considers Jews as "people of the book" - recipients of divine revelation- Moses is mentioned more than any other Prophet in the Quran - they are followers of monotheism and their women are lawful for Muslim men to marry and their slaughtered meat is lawful to eat (unlike pagans). There has never been hostility to the Jewish religion in Islam: while classical Muslim scholars have written books criticising trinitarian Christianity they haven't attacked Judaism.

Its a fact that Islam is more respectful of Christianity and Judaism which it considers people to have receiev divine revelation (later altered) than either Judaism or Christianity are of it or of each other

Judaism while not accepting the prophecy of Muhammed (unlike Muslism who accept the prophecy of Moses (pbuh) ) is also more respectful towards Islam than towards Christianity . Orthodox jews believe that any gentile who follows the 7 Noahide laws and believes in one God will go to heaven - and the only
people who do are Muslims

Here is what a jewsih write Uri Avner said
THERE IS no evidence whatsoever of any attempt to impose Islam on the Jews. As is well known, under Muslim rule the Jews of Spain enjoyed a bloom the like of which the Jews did not enjoy anywhere else until almost our time. Poets like Yehuda Halevy wrote in Arabic, as did the great Maimonides. In Muslim Spain, Jews were ministers, poets, scientists. In Muslim Toledo, Christian, Jewish and Muslim scholars worked together and translated the ancient Greek philosophical and scientific texts. That was, indeed, the Golden Age. How would this have been possible, had the Prophet decreed the "spreading of the faith by the sword"?

What happened afterwards is even more telling. When the Catholics re-conquered Spain from the Muslims, they instituted a reign of religious terror. The Jews and the Muslims were presented with a cruel choice: to become Christians, to be massacred or to leave. And where did the hundreds of thousand of Jews, who refused to abandon their faith, escape? Almost all of them were received with open arms in the Muslim countries. The Sephardi ("Spanish") Jews settled all over the Muslim world, from Morocco in the west to Iraq in the east, from Bulgaria (then part of the Ottoman Empire) in the north to Sudan in the south. Nowhere were they persecuted. They knew nothing like the tortures of the Inquisition, the flames of the auto-da-fe, the pogroms, the terrible mass-expulsions that took place in almost all Christian countries, up to the Holocaust.

WHY? Because Islam expressly prohibited any persecution of the "peoples of the book". In Islamic society, a special place was reserved for Jews and Christians. They did not enjoy completely equal rights, but almost. They had to pay a special poll-tax, but were exempted from military service--a trade-off that was quite welcome to many Jews. It has been said that Muslim rulers frowned upon any attempt to convert Jews to Islam even by gentle persuasion--because it entailed the loss of taxes.

Every honest Jew who knows the history of his people cannot but feel a deep sense of gratitude to Islam, which has protected the Jews for fifty generations, while the Christian world persecuted the Jews and tried many times "by the sword" to get them to abandon their faith.

The Israel/Palestine conflict is over land not religion - remember that the Arab palestinians fought the Turks (who are Muslims) who had occupied their land prior to the Israeli occupation

In Islam Jews & Christians are known as "the people of the Book/ Scripture" i.e. the Bible. We are not taught that we should hate Jews or should kill them or go out and convert them by force:

...And say (Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him) to those who were given the Scripture (Jews & Christians) and to those who are illiterates (Arab Pagans), “Do you (also) submit yourselves (to Allah in Islam)?” If they do they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, your duty is only to convey the message and Allah is All Seer of (His) Slaves.
Quran Al- Imran Chapter 3 Verse 20

Say (O Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him) “O people of the Scripture (Jews & Christians), come to common terms as between us and you, that we worship none but Allah (the One True Creator, the God of Abraham), and that we associate no partners with him, and that none shall take others as lords besides Allah…
Quran Al- Imran Chapter3 Verse 64

There have been conflicts with Jewish people in the History of Muslims. However it has never really been based on religion, it's mostly politics. Just take a look at Isreal, the problem is not with Jewish people being there, the problem is political and about land and Jerusalam. There are many Jews in Isreal that are fighting the Isreali government against their treatment of the Palastinians.

I have nothing but respect for Christianity & Judaism.

I have been researching that question too, i know what the muslims view jews as, "people of the book" as with christians, but my research has not proven that this is reciprocated by jews or even christians. But i did come across an excellent source for your reference:

The Israeli war on the palestinians is not how jews view muslims, those in israel are mostly misguided by the political zionist myth, and only true jews can help them.

hope that helps.

The jews are terrified that the Muslims will take over which is why the jews are trying to wipe the arabs off the face of the earth. The arabs are quite rightfully fighting back. The jews are commiting genocide.

Now if this answer gets removed then I will know that you dont want the truth - you just want to be told what fits with your beleifs.

there's no sparkling date of separation, yet once you seem up the background of each and every occasion, you will see that it got here approximately slowly, culminating around the 1960's. whilst the Democrats began, they accumulated of communities that have been professional States Rights and business employer, with strict adherence to the form. That replaced into in simple terms before the Civil conflict. Republicans, at that factor have been against monopolization of farm land (extremely vast business employer), and had a "combat for the little guy" approach of politics. The term "innovative" held usually an analogous which means then as now, and it replaced into the Republican area, extremely than Democrat, as this is now... the 1st time the two events incredibly began to look like they do in the present day replaced into in all possibility whilst Democrats post front-guy Woodrow Wilson - a innovative - as their presidential nominee. Republicans, that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days had Taft (who replaced right into a Socialist! LOL). After Taft(R) and Wilson(D) got here Harding(R), who replaced right into a self-made businessman... very very reminiscent of the Republican top echelon of in the present day, yet very diverse from their beginnings as feisty field hands. The 1960's delivered women's rights and civil rights into play, and the Democrats offered into it thoroughly, pushing for Ammendments to the form and comparable. The Republican power base had shifted to wealthy land and business employer vendors by employing this time, and favourite the status quo, choosing Conservatism - with the aid of fact of this they simply did no longer choose for to pass changing the form. As a final word: in simple terms seem on the areas the place the two events began. Democrats began in the SOUTH, a close by it extremely is stubbornly happy with it incredibly is background and usually unchanged in its socio-political ideals with the aid of fact the 1st gentle of the rustic. Republicans have been from the recent England States, generally... that section is and consistently has been innovative. The occasion lines replaced, however the persons remained an analogous. ultimately, they simply switched factors, yet their hearts and minds (on the two factors) are nonetheless an analogous.

According to my knowlege, a holy book predicts a big war between the Jewish community and the Muslim community, therefore often both communities tend to dislike each other, although not everyone from both communities hate each other.

I'm not a Muslim or Jewish so I can't answer from experience, but I have a friend who saw a Jewish person one day and she was like "Damn Jew", I was shocked, and told her to stop being racist, she argued with me, but a few days later she came up to me and said, "You were right, my religion says I'm not allowed to be racist" therefore I think it's a cultral not religious thing.

Holy Quran, Chapter 2, Verse No. 62

Verily! Those who believe (Muslims) and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear , nor shall they grieve.

Muslims respect Jews and Christians because that's what the Quran and Prophet Mohamed taught us. We do not have any bad feelings towards any religion that has been mentioned in the Quran. We respect what other people believe in. However, it may seem that muslims hate jews because of the situation in Palestine. Some muslims may hate jews not because of the sole reason that they are jews, but for their actions towards palestenians. I hope one day the palestine and israel issue can be resolved.
