your small advice make my life more beautiful.
i am an indian, and after 1 week i will meet a girl for marriage.she is coming from usa, basically she is from gujrat and live in usa from last 3 years, this is my first time, i am so narvous, coz i am very shy boy and generally not talking with girl,and another prob is that i don't know her language very well, there is only one common language between us and that is our mother tongue. what should i do? about which thing i should ask her so i can understand her easily, bcoz hardly i have only 20 min to talk with her and can i request her that we can talk in mother tongue?

well if she was living here in america she might not be all for the arranged marrige thing.. many people arent anymore (not triying to offend your customs but peoples views have changed a bit) so maybe you should ask her what she thinks about you 2 getting married.. i know it might sound blunt and stuff but you have to know.. otherwise you wont ever know how she really feels.. but other than that just get to know each other.. ask about life in america ask about her family her intrest take it like a first date... youll have the rest of your lives to ask important questions but if your first meeting is nice and calm and doesnt have all that pressure of marrige involved she will feel more secure with you and will be able to trust you more.
also i dont think she would mind either language and if she was in america for just 3 year she should be find talking in your mother tongue so go for it

Try a few ice breakers, maybe you don't have to talk in your mother tongue, if possible in USA you get Indian Drama's perhaps you can break the ice by asking her a question in English that way she knows you can speak English, and can cope in the USA if you need to move there. Best thing to ask to break the ice properly is something about Indian soaps, like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, cause they have it in USA too.
And just find out what sorts of things she likes, don't ask what she does for a living straight away, she'll think you're a gold digger, best to leave that for later, find out her interests and what type of person she is.

Ask her some of her hobbies or favorite things to eat. Ask her to be brief in her description, so you can get to know many basic details instead of a few.
Whatever she like to do, look it up. What ever she likes to eat, if you can, go and get her some (if it's something like chocolates or ice cream).
Ask if she likes flowers, what kind she likes. Her favorite color, song, book, movie.
It will help you get to know her better by knowing her personal tastes.

Ask her if she would mind talking indian. it's not a shame. ask her to tell you things about her life. what does she like doing. how her life has been until now. where she grew up. small stupid questions, that will make her feel comfortale too. Don't talk too much about you! And if she's the one. you'll know!!

hey no worries,just ask her how is she ,what is her views about marriages,is she ready to settle in india with you maarries her,questions like that and also you should be frank to her also.dont pose in front of her like movie stars or supermans,finally after all questions ask whether she likes you or not... clear.good luck
