It is not biblical. "cowardices" means lack of courage. A coward person, on the other hand, is somebody who is easily frightened. In other words, it is the opposite of being brave. In book of james 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. This verse is telling us that it is not cowardice, but a sin if you do not do what you know is good. We must remember that what st. james had written in his book comes from the lord. It comes from God himself. We must take note that the Apostles and the disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ wrote of things which were commanded to them by God.

According to God, you must do what you know to be good. Doing good deeds is a commandment of God. We cab read it on the Ephesians 2:10 " For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. " It is the duty of a Christian or a Godfearing man to do what is good in the sight of God. As long as we live, we are commanded to do what is good, as written in
Eccelsiastes 9:10 "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." That is why whatever a hand findeth to do, especially those good deeds that the Lord God have ordained to the bible, "When we die, we cannot work or do good things anymore.
